What is the HydraFacial MD® treatment?

It is a patented skin treatment that combines deep cleansing, exfoliation, and hydration to improve the overall texture, tone, and appearance of the skin. Also known as “hydradermabrasion,” it utilizes a three-step process to address various skin concerns such as acne, dryness, and wrinkles.

What are the steps taken during a HydraFacial MD® treatment?

During the treatment, three steps are typically followed to achieve the desired results:

  • Cleanse and Peel: This step involves the resurfacing of the skin through exfoliation. The outer layer of dead skin cells is gently removed, which can improve the skin's appearance, brightness, and unclog pores. A specialized HydraFacial MD® tip generates a fluid vortex over the skin, dislodging impurities and dead skin cells.
  • Extract and Hydrate: In this step, the HydraFacial MD® treatment uses a unique tip that simultaneously extracts impurities from the pores while delivering topical moisturizers to the skin. This process helps in deeply cleansing the pores and hydrating the skin.
  • Infuse and Protect: The final step involves the application of boosters or serums customized to address specific skin concerns. These boosters may target hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, dull skin, or enlarged pores, depending on the individual's needs. The treatment concludes by infusing the skin with these beneficial serums, providing nourishment and protection to the skin.
